What, might you ask, do these three young actors have in common?
The answer: they’re just some of the graduates of our young &W!LD training programme. Under then-Artistic Director Jonathan Lim, young & W!LD focused on preparing a troupe of young actors for the rigours of Singapore’s professional theatre scene.
Candice de Rozario, Hang Qian Chou, Jasmine Koh, Jonathan Lum, Audrey Luo, Ghazali Muzakir, Judy Ngo, Daphne Ong, Eleanor Tan, Tan Shou Chen, Terence Tan, Leslie Tay, Vanessa Wong
Today, all three actors are actively working in the local theatre industry. We’re especially proud to welcome them to join W!LD RICE onstage.
Shou Chen played Boy in last year’s production of Alfian Sa’at’s Dreamplay: Asian Boys Vol. 1.
Candice had audiences rolling in the aisles in our 2013 Christmas pantomime, Jack & The Bean-Sprout!.
And last, but certainly not least, Glory will play the role of Adela in our upcoming production of The House Of Bernarda Alba.
