Wild Rice is hiring BAR ASSISTANTS for our theatre bar in Funan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting patrons, taking and preparation of drinks and/or food orders, and resolving patrons’ queries
- Handling cash and card payments
- Be responsible for bar operations from opening to closing
- Setting up bar station for operations
- Ensuring all equipment are clean, well-maintained and meet all hygiene, health and safety regulations
- Maintaining up to date inventory
- Any other duties as required
Prospective candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Experience: Entry level experience is required, with on-the-job training provided.
- Communication: An outgoing personality, with strong communication skills to work in a team.
- Flexibility: Able to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Wild Rice is Hiring – MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS EXECUTIVE
We are looking for a MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS EXECUTIVE to join our team in support of the industry-leading work we do at our home in Funan.
What The Position Entails:
The Marketing & Communications Executive will collaborate closely with all members of our team in creating, planning and implementing Wild Rice’s marketing, communications and sales strategies across our entire season of shows. Core responsibilities include helping to develop and execute marcomms campaigns that engage audiences (both new and existing), whilst promoting our brand as the home for Singapore theatre. Ideal candidates should be passionate about Singapore’s performing arts scene and cultural sector, with a willingness to learn new skills on the job as necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Help to develop, design and write/edit copy for our marketing and communications collateral (including our show programmes, email blasts and website) in collaboration with the rest of our team.
- Pitch and create social media content (including images and short, simple videos to be shared across our social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube) to promote our shows.
- Assist in coordinating photoshoots and other related marcomms events.
- Document key events in our calendar, such as rehearsals, table reads and galas, by taking photos and videos for social media and archival purposes.
- Engage with our audiences by responding to customer queries across our social media platforms.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in related fields of marketing and communications, theatre studies, design etc.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Digitally savvy, with basic knowledge of design tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator) and video editing software (e.g. CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro)
- A good understanding of social media trends
- Comfortable working independently and effectively under pressure, often in situations that require multi-tasking
- Meticulous, well-organised and attentive to detail
- Able to work weekends and evenings during production periods
We would also welcome candidates who are familiar with our e-mail platform (MailChimp) and website management system (WordPress). Experience taking photos and shooting videos with a DSLR camera is a plus.

Roles and Responsibilities:
As a Development Executive, you will be part of a team that works to conceptualise, develop and implement a sustainability and growth strategy for Wild Rice through these channels:
- Donation processing
- Updating various databases
- Assist with communications (email and WhatsApp) to donors
- Assist with general enquiries via email, WhatsApp and calls
- Assist with fundraising campaigns
- Assist with planning and organising Outreach and Fundraising Events
- Other general administrative tasks

Calling for Ushers to Help Welcome Audiences to Our Home in Funan!
Wild Rice is hiring outgoing and friendly USHERS to help us with ushering duties at our theatre complex in Funan.
Prospective candidates should ideally meet the following criteria:
- Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills;
- Ability to interact with patrons in a helpful and friendly manner; and
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
General duties include:
- Checking tickets of each patron prior to entry;
- Politely directing and escorting patrons to their seats;
- Addressing patron enquiries;
- Being aware of and enforcing appropriate house rules throughout the venue;
- Being aware of and following the proper procedures for assisting patrons with disabilities;
- Attending pre-event usher meetings and other training sessions, as required by management; and
- Demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of all venues within Wild Rice @ Funan, including a good understanding of evacuation procedures from all points within each venue.

About the Role
As Development Manager, you will craft and execute fundraising strategies that advance Wild Rice’s artistic and organisational goals. Working closely with the Artistic and Executive Directors, Board and Fundraising Committee, you will:
- Develop and deliver fundraising campaigns, including our signature Rice Ball
- Cultivate meaningful relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors and foundations
- Write compelling grant applications and proposals
- Drive donor engagement through creative events and storytelling

About You

Wild Rice is Hiring – STAGE TECHNICIAN
Wild Rice is looking for a dedicated and meticulous STAGE TECHNICIAN to support our work at our home at Funan.
As a core member of our growing Technical department, the Stage Technician will work closely with our Technical Manager to:
- Support the safe and efficient operation of all the technical aspects of our venue, which includes The Ngee Ann Kongsi Theatre as well as two studio spaces.
- Ensure that all the technical equipment within our performing arts complex is in excellent working order and maintained according to the industry’s safety standards.
- Maintain strict safety procedures that adhere to our venue’s technical rules and requirements, including by external hirers.
Prospective candidates should ideally possess the following criteria:
- Minimum of Diploma or equivalent in any arts-related or technical management course, especially with regards to theatre.
- An in-depth working knowledge of the various operating systems that make up a theatre – from light and sound to air-conditioning and seating.
- A sound knowledge of all relevant safety and security policies, including fire safety and evacuation procedures relevant to a venue like Wild Rice @ Funan.

Wild Rice is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administration Executive to support our work at our home at Funan.
The Administration Executive should have 2-3 years of experience in administration and accounting support, and a positive, hands-on approach to day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day office administration
- Manage pantry and stationery supplies
- Assist with procurement and inventory tracking
- Support finance team with documentation and basic bookkeeping
- Handle staff records and HR documentation
- Coordinate meetings, schedules, and internal communication
- Assist in Staff Welfare activities.
Prospective candidates should ideally possess the following criteria:
- Diploma or higher qualification
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant administrative experience
- Meticulous, organised, and responsible
