Costume Party with Moe Kasim!

From aspiring performer to award-winning costume designer, Moe Kasim has come a long way in the local theatre industry. Entirely self-taught in his craft, Moe has designed costumes for musicals, movies, and is the resident costume designer of W!LD RICE's pantomimes. He has won four LIFE! Theatre Awards, two of which were for his work on our pantomimes Aladdin (2004) and Oi! Sleeping Beauty! (2005). He talks to us about his design concept for Jack & The Bean-Sprout! and his sources of inspiration.

Goose Intentions

Siti Khalijah can make you cry: she proved as much with her riveting performance earlier this year in Best Of, a one-woman play about a young Malay woman struggling with identity and family issues in Singapore. But she's also incredibly adept at making us laugh. After bringing the house down as Nicki Minah in last year's Hansel & Gretel, she's back to tickle our funny bone in Jack & The Bean-Sprout!.

Harp! The Herald Angels Sing!

Ten years ago, veteran theatre actor Karen Tan performed in the first ever W!LD RICE pantomime, Cinderel-lah!. Later this year, she'll reprise her role as the Golden (Hits) Harp in Jack & The Bean-Sprout!.
