This open call invites performers of all backgrounds and experience levels to audition for Wild Rice. We hope to meet a wide range of actors, including those who are new to us. While these auditions are not tied to specific productions, performers may be considered for roles in our 2026 and 2027 main-stage seasons.

This holiday season, Wild Rice proudly presents The Emperor’s New Clothes – a Singaporean spin on Hans Christian Andersen’s timeless tale about the ultimate fashion victim. Inventively directed by Pam Oei, this hilarious, heartwarming musical comedy features a razor-sharp script updated by Joel Tan, a sparkling score by Julian Wong, and a fabulous cast including our First Stage Kids.
