Frequently Asked Questions on HOTEL
HOTEL was conceived, written and first produced in 2015 for the Singapore International Festival of Arts. Our creative team, comprising co-directors Ivan Heng and Glen Goei and co-playwrights Alfian Sa’at and Marcia Vanderstraaten, wanted to go beyond the SG50 festivities that year to explore 100 years of Singapore history. This play was written in two parts to reflect the seismic historical shifts and societal changes that took place over a century, filtered through the prism of the residents of one single hotel room.
We highly recommend watching both parts of HOTEL. You will be getting only half the story by watching either part alone, which would make your experience of this epic production incomplete. The tickets you purchase will automatically give you access to both Parts I and II of HOTEL.
No – your tickets will automatically guarantee you access to Parts I and II of HOTEL as all tickets for this production are sold as a set.
Unfortunately, you will not be able to do so as all tickets for this production are sold as a set and thus cannot be sold separately.
We have bundled Parts I and II together in the following configurations: Tuesday/Wednesday evenings @ 7.30pm; Thursday/Friday evenings @ 7.30pm; Saturday matinee @ 2.30pm and evening @ 7.30pm; Sunday matinee @ 2.30pm and evening @ 7.30pm.
Please make sure you can attend both performances before booking your tickets!
Yes, you will be assigned the same seats for both performances.
We hope you will understand that tickets, once sold, cannot be exchanged as this will affect seating arrangements in future performances. We also do not offer refunds if you are unable to attend a specific performance.
However, in the interests of keeping our artists and audiences safe, we will make exceptions to our refund policy in the event that you need to miss a performance as you have contracted COVID-19. We will offer you a refund for any unused part of your ticket if you can provide us with medical documentation of your diagnosis.
