Can we truly belong in a multi-racial society that claims to celebrate diversity, but can’t always seem to find space for minority views and opinions?
In this thought-provoking production created by teenagers, REGARDLESS OF asks all these questions and more. In a series of sharply observed vignettes, you’ll meet a host of characters just trying to figure out who they are and what home means to them as they go about their lives in Singapore.
An elderly person learns about the concept of ‘preferred pronouns’ for the first time. A housing agent must tell a client that the landlord has no interest in renting to people of certain races or nationalities. A young gay person dreams of leaving Singapore, but their parent begs them to stay.
