This show will be produced as part of A Little Wild, Wild Rice’s Theatre for Young Audiences division. Written by Alfian Sa’at and directed by Ezzat Alkaff, this family-friendly show will feature original music by Mark Nicodemus Tan.
We are looking for an ensemble of actors to perform in the show, which is designed especially for audiences aged 5 and up. All interested applicants must be able to act, sing and dance. Experience in performing for young audiences is preferred, but not essential.
Please note that this audition call is open to actors aged 18 and above only. Interested candidates must be able to commit to the following dates:

TECH AND DRESS REHEARSALS:
20 – 26 February 2027

27 February – 14 March 2027

All interested candidates should first submit:
1. The following videos:
- A video of yourself performing a contemporary monologue from a Singaporean text in a Singaporean accent. This video should be no longer than 2 minutes.
- A one-minute video of yourself dancing to a pop song.
- A one-minute video of you singing a verse and chorus of a song that demonstrates your dramatic range.
2. Performance résumé (in PDF format)
3. Headshot (taken within the last 6 months)
4. Full body shot (taken within the last 6 months)
Do state your height in metres for our reference.

Applications must be submitted by 5 May 2026 (Tuesday), 12pm. Please do not call to apply.
Candidates will then be shortlisted for in-person auditions. If you have been shortlisted for an in-person audition, Wild Rice will contact you by 12 May 2026 (Tuesday).
Auditions will be held from 19 to 21 May 2026 (Tuesday to Thursday), 2pm – 6pm.
