As a not-for-profit Singapore charity, Wild Rice depends on the generosity of our supporters to do the important work we do for our audiences, our artists and our community. Ticket sales and grants cover only part of our costs, and we still need to raise at least $2.5 million each year.

Our Angels make it possible for us to create homegrown theatre for over 50,000 people each year, while upholding the excellence, craft and integrity that define our work. Their support helps keep our shows inclusive and affordable, and allows us to nurture emerging artists and inspire young people through our education programmes.

But there is still so much more we hope to achieve.

How long does the Holiday Angel campaign run?

Wild Riceā€™s Holiday Angel Donation Drive runs from 1 December 2025 to 28 February 2026.

All donations received through this campaign will be matched under the Tote Boardā€™s Enhanced Fundraising Programme accordingly:
(i) The Tote Board will match 40% of funds raised, capped at $100,000 per application;
(ii) the government will match 60% of funds raised, capped at $150,000 per charity applicant per financial year.

Only donations made through the following channels are eligible to be matched under the Tote Boardā€™s Enhanced Fundraising Programme.

(c) Make a bank transfer to UOB account 102-316-408-1, with attached form

Donations made through other channels, such as our giving.sg profile page, are most welcome, but will not be eligible for the matching grant.

Your Angel benefits will be valid for one (1) year from the date of your donation.

Once you sign up as an Angel, we will get in touch with you to ask for details such as the name by which you wish to be acknowledged. We will subsequently acknowledge you as an Angel in our collaterals for the next 12 months. You may also choose to remain anonymous.

To redeem your complimentary tickets in December 2025, please write to us at angels@wildrice.com.sg and specify the show(s) and seats (e.g., Cat 1 or Cat 2) you would like us to reserve for you. If you have additional ticketing requests (e.g., booking seats alongside complimentary ticket redemption), please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you!

Please note that we are currently in the process of upgrading our booking system. As such, we might take a little longer to process any ticketing requests received in December 2025.

Once the upgrade is complete, you will be able to reserve your own tickets via SISTIC.

Angel complimentary tickets are valid for the best available seats for any show presented by Wild Rice. This typically means Category 1 seats in the stalls and Balcony 1.

For each Wild Rice production, we will send all our Angels your discount code in advance via email. Please check your inbox settings and whitelist angels@wildrice.com.sg to ensure that you are receiving our emails!

Yes! TheĀ Angel tier will be based onĀ the total amount donated in one (1) year. For example, ifĀ a monthly recurring donation of $50 would entitle you to become an Amber Angel afterĀ one (1) year (i.e. 12 x $50 = $600).

Please note thatĀ Angel complimentary tickets are only valid for one (1) year from theĀ initialĀ date ofĀ donation, andĀ cannot be rolled over.
