Dear Audience,
We regret to inform you that we must cancel the first two preview performances of Accidental Death of an Activist on 26 and 27 September (Thursday and Friday).
As this is a new adaptation, the licensing process has taken longer than expected. To secure our license to perform, we made careful edits to the script whilst ensuring that the integrity of the play has not been compromised.
The IMDA has since issued us a license of Advisory 16, which recommends that the production is more suited for audiences aged 16 and above. (Please note that this is not a rating; audiences below the age of 16 are not prohibited from attending the show.)
Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused. We seek your kind understanding that our company needs more time to rehearse the changes so that we can present the best possible production of this world classic.
For affected patrons, please check your email from SISTIC for details on rebooking or getting a refund for your tickets. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.
Thank you so much for your continued support of Wild Rice and Singapore theatre. We look forward to seeing you at our theatre very soon.
