Following Grandmother Tongue’s acclaimed premiere at the 2016 Singapore Theatre Festival, we were eager to bring this very special show about languages, loss and love to a wider audience. It’s particularly meaningful for us that we were able to do so with the original cast and creative team, led by director/playwright Thomas Lim.
The gala night performance was warmly greeted with a standing ovation. Once the curtain fell, celebrations were definitely in order!
We invited our guests to an absolutely fantastic feast catered specially by the fabulous folks at LAVISH – including local fare like Teochew muay and kueh pie tee.
