How We Will Show Our Appreciation
We aim to treat you to the Gala event of the Century – an unforgettable, unmissable evening of elegant dining and pure entertainment. Even as Singapore commemorates the bicentennial anniversary of Sir Stamford Raffles’ arrival on our shores, we want to acknowledge our 700-year history as a global port and cosmopolitan city – situated at the crossroads of East and West, tradition and modernity.
A surprise line-up of the leading chefs from Singapore’s culinary scene will be coming together to present an exquisite menu inspired by our local cuisines. The much-anticipated concert this year will feature a constellation of Singapore’s brightest theatre stars, including Pam Oei, Siti Khalijah Zainal, Hossan Leong and Ebi Shankara – while not forgetting Ivan Heng and Glen Goei! And true to every Rice Ball, you can look forward to dancing the night away to the extraordinary musical stylings of DJ Keith Colaco.
The dress code for this event is Historic Glamour. So come dressed to the nines as your favourite historical figures from Singapore and the world over – from royalty and legendary heroes and heroines, to those who’ve changed the world (for better or worse) and captured the public imagination.
