Monkeying Around!

Dear Friends,

What an incredible ride we've had with Monkey Goes West thus far! The show has been charming audiences and critics for two weeks now, not to mention some very special guests from charities all over Singapore. We've had fun watching our amazing cast members - like Darius Tan, Siti Khalijah and the kids from Martial House - thoroughly own their roles on stage. There's truly never been a better time to embark on an epic Journey to the West with W!LD RICE! A big thank you to everyone who's come to the theatre. And,if you haven't, please get your tickets soon. Enjoy this issue of W!LD TIMES!

My best,

Grabbing The Bull By Its Horns
Monkey Goes West marks Darius Tan’s fifth pantomime with W!LD RICE – and the first time he’s playing a man! He chats with us about joining the cast of this hit show and always giving it his all on stage.
I'd Like To Know: Siti Khalijah
You’ve seen Siti Khalijah act, sing and dance. But did you know that this star of Monkey Goes West always cracks her knuckles before she goes on stage and really loves bubble tea?
Flipping Out with Joshua Goh
With six years of wushu training under his belt, Joshua Goh of Martial House can jump, tumble and flip – just like a monkey! He chats with us about singing, dancing and pulling off a few cool tricks in Monkey Goes West.
young & W!LD: Nisa Syarafana
Nisa Syarafana has been in love with the theatre since the age of 10. Now 20 years old, she explains how young & W!LD has given her a better understanding of the kind of artist she wants to be.
A Worthwhile Cause!
Monkey Goes West played host to some very special audience members last week: members of the Chinese Women’s Association, including Golden Angel Betty Chen, and residents of Henderson Home.
Up to Monkey Business!
Our guests went bananas for the show, our cast and the food! Join us on a Journey back to our amazing gala night for Monkey Goes West!
