The Festival is Coming to Town!

Dear Friends,

The curtain goes up on the Singapore Theatre Festival tomorrow! What a thrill for us to finally have all of you join us in the theatre - to laugh, cry, think and simply be together, sharing in the stories that we have been working so hard for months to tell.

In this issue, the cast of HOTEL reveals just what goes into performing this five-hour epic. Vote in Alfian Sa'at's GRC, and meet one of the candidates: Fir Rahman of Apprentice fame, who tells us why theatre remains his first love. Helmi Yusof gives aspiring playwrights some honest advice, while Lok Meng Chue and Remesh Panicker discuss their December-December romance in My Mother Buys Condoms. And you can find out more about powerhouse actor/director Pam Oei as well as Frasers Hospitality, which has been supporting us for 15 W!LD years.

See you at the theatre!
Ivan
