Grow, taugeh, grow!

Dear friends and W!LD RICE Angels,

We are hard at work on our annual holiday pantomime, Jack & The Bean-Sprout!. We've got all hands - and some feet - on deck, busily nurturing our Magic Beans. We can't wait to bring you the fun, laughter and magic you've come to expect from our pantomimes! In this issue of W!LD TIMES, we chat with our fabulous pantomime dame Darius Tan, choreographer and professional kid wrangler Richard Chia, and one of our outrageously talented W!LD Kids, Lauren Yeo.

Last week, I was immensely honoured and encouraged to receive the Cultural Medallion. I would like to take this opportunity to say a heartfelt THANK YOU for all your support over the years. There would be no theatre without an audience: you are the final, crucial element that makes a play sing and a musical speak to the heart. Your warmth and love mean the world to me and everyone who has worked with W!LD RICE.

My best,

Hot Off The Press!

'Never work with children or animals' - or so the old showbiz saying goes. We chat with Richard about working with kids and telling a story through choreography. Read more...
