CONNECT THE DOTS is a performance featuring some of the most provocative, insightful and humorous writings from Singapore, with diverse topics ranging from the Merlion and Singlish, through nationality, race and sexuality.
Directed by Ivan Heng and curated by Eleanor Wong, two of Singapore’s most celebrated theatre makers, CONNECT THE DOTS will surprise, delight and offer an intimate appreciation and understanding of the obsessions and concerns of the Lion City’s artists and denizens.
This physical theatre performance of 21 texts, culled from an eclectic body of celebrated and banned literary works, playfully invites an audience to make up their own picture of the Nation State, even as they reflect on their own and celebrate the connections (or lack thereof) between them.
