Have you ever wanted to act? Do you need to hone your acting skills? Are you looking for an opportunity to work with an internationally renowned theatre company?
young & W!LD could be the perfect fit for you!
In October 2018, W!LD RICE will re-launch our youth division, young & W!LD, which is dedicated to training and nurturing the next generation of Singaporean actors.
Under the leadership of award-winning actor and theatre-maker Edith Podesta, this year-long, comprehensive acting programme aims to prepare promising young talents for careers in the creative industry.
Working alongside local and international career professionals, young & W!LD offers participants the unique opportunity to see how a professional theatre company creates works, connects with an audience, and engages with the community.
Over 12 months, the programme will explore the essential techniques required for acting on stage and screen. Other modules include a foundation in European Naturalism, classes in Laban and Physical Characterisation, Contemporary Play Production, and workshops on professional development and career management.
The programme will culminate in a graduation showcase that will be featured as part of a W!LD RICE's mainstage season.
